Biographie

Agrégée de lettres modernes, Rebecca Zlotowski entre en 2003 à la FEMIS dans la section scenario. Elle y fait une série de rencontres déterminantes dont celle de Cyprien Vial, avec lequel elle co-réalise le court-métrage Dans le Rang, prix SACD (Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs dramatiques) à la Quinzaine des réalisateurs de Cannes en 2006. Pour son projet de fin d’étude à la FEMIS, elle écrit le scénario de Belle Epine. Elle réalise le film en 2010 et obtient le prix Louis Delluc du meilleur premier film. Enseignante au département de cinéma de l’université Lyon 2, elle est également la scénariste du film Jimmy Rivière qui obtient plusieurs distinctions en festival.
