We had the pleasure of interviewing the brilliant rising director Alexis Langlois at Cannes, where he presented his glittercore pop-punk musical debut feature film, 'Queens of Drama' (Les Reines de la drame).

This subversive drama takes us on a thrilling journey through the star-crossed romance of Mimi Madamour and Billie Kohler, played by Louiza Aura and Gio Ventura.
Mimi, a pop diva sensation, and Billie, an underground punk rocker, first meet as rivals on a television singing competition. Their passionate love story unfolds against the backdrop of the music industry's highs and lows, bringing us decades of drama, music, and unyielding emotion.

The film also features a star-studded cast, including Bilal Hassani, Alma Jodorowsky, Nana Benamer, Asia Argento, Thomas Poitevin, Dustin Muchuvitz, Raya Martigny, Drag Couenne, Julia Fiquet, Jean-Biche, and Élodie Barthels.
