Calinos Entertainment which started its activities in 1997 in Los Angeles moved its headquarters to Istanbul due to proximity to countries in the region with fast growth achieved by maintaining its office at United States. Calinos Entertainment designating its business line as marketing programs such as movies, television series, documentaries, soap operas to local and international markets; with the vision it has, by benefiting from advantage of Turkey’s bridge-like location between Asian and European cultures becomes the first Turkish company marketing Turkish series, movies and television programs in the international platform. In year 2001, first Turkish series “Deliyürek” sold to abroad (Kazakhstan) was marketed by Calinos. Company has extended its share in foreign markets and ensured its permanence by marketing movies, series and TV programs in international television sector.
