We take care of the National and International Festival distribution as well as the TV Sales.

Zen Movie Distribuzione was born in 2016 as an extension of Zen Movie, which was already a Production company of short films. It was founded by director Giulio Mastromauro as a result of a mature experience gained from distributing his own short films in Festivals throughout the world. The project was born with the aim of helping other directors and productions of short films to make their work visible in the vast and complex world of Festivals and TV sales.

We make a targeted and personalized work, initially trying to understand the potential of each film and then directing it along the most appropriate path so that it can be valued and recognized. Starting from a careful research of the most interesting Festivals in the world, we work with enthusiasm, creativity and dedication to all that is related to the distribution of a short film, from the submission of the film to a Festival, to the relationship with the Festival itself, up to TV sales.

The Zen Movie catalogue is composed of a limited selection of short films that we believe having the potential to win the audience's heart and fascinate the selectors of the Festivals. When we choose a short film, it becomes for us a precious opportunity to increase our own value as well. That's why we do our best to ensure that the film will have the success it deserves. Each choice is targeted and personalized, because each film is a unique work.

Our short films have been selected at the major Festivals throughout the world: from the prestigious Italian events such as the Venice Film Festival, the Nastri d'Argento (Silver Ribbon Awards), the David di Donatello Award, up to the International Oscar-qualifying Festivals, such as Clermont-Ferrand Int. Short Film Festival, Flickers' Rhode Island Int. Film Festival, Tampere Film Festival, Calgary Int. Film Festival, Leeds Int. Film Festival, Foyle Film Festival, Heartland Film Festival, St. Louis Int. Film Festival, and many other important and prestigious Festivals in Italy and around the world.

Last but not least, we collaborate with several Foreign Distributors who wish to entrust us with the distribution of their short films on Italian territory.
