Available to all cable & broadcast households, unscrambled and free of charge, on the condition that it be carried as a public service and part of basic service on cable, with no paid advertising to be carried during programming and that local not-profit arts PSA’s be accepted at no charge.
Classic Arts Showcase is a not for profit 24-hour Satellite programming service that is provided free to local public service channels, cable and/or broadcast station.
The spectrum of classic arts discipines aired on the channels includes video samplings of animation, architectural art, ballet, chamber and choral music, dance, folk art, museum art, musical theater, opera, orchestral, recital, solo and theatrical performances as well as classic film and archival documentaries.
168 programming hours per day.
