Présentation de l'édition 2024

The International Film Festival of Huesca has announced the dates for its 52nd edition. The event will be held from June 7th to June 15th, 2024, in the capital of Alto Aragón. This important announcement sets the festival on the calendar for both the general public and industry professionals. It also allows short filmmakers to plan their schedules and deadlines in order to aspire to be part of the official selection next year. Huesca boasts over half a century of history, a list of awards that distribute over 24,000 euros in prizes, and it is one of the six festivals in Spain that, in addition to having the endorsement of the Goya Awards, qualify for the Academy Awards from Hollywood. These distinguishing features position it among the prominent landmarks of the seventh art at a global level.

The Huesca International Film Festival is sponsored by the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Government of Aragon, the Provincial Council of Huesca, the Huesca City Council and the Anselmo Pie Foundation; with the collaboration of Alumbra, Podoactiva, Obra Social “la Caixa”, EMBOU, TUHUESCA and the Aragonese Institute for Women; and the support of Acción Cultural Española (AC/E) through its Program for the Internationalization of Spanish Culture (PICE).
